How To Update The Checkout Form Settings?

Update the registration form settings to control how attendees register, what info you collect, and how the form behaves — all from one place.

Access Form Settings

Go to Registration > Registration Forms in the Eventspot Admin Panel. Choose the form you want to update and click the Settings icon to open Form Settings.

Form Appearance

• Cover Photo: Upload a cover image (1030px width x 490px height, max 50MB).
• Form Description: Add a short description shown on the form.
• Page Layout: Choose Single Page for a one-go form, or Section Wise to split it into steps.
• Profile Photo: Set the attendee profile picture as Optional, Mandatory, or Hidden.

Capacity

• Unlimited Capacity: Allow unrestricted ticket sales.
• Fixed Capacity: Set a specific limit on total available seats.

Form Settings

• Hide Registration Form: Hide the form from public view while keeping the event active.
• Confirmation Email: Automatically email attendees once they register successfully.
• Password Protect: Secure the form with a password to control access.
• Export Email: Allow attendee emails to be included in exportable reports (subject to Lead Settings).
• Admin Approval Required (Beta): Require an admin to approve registrations before they're finalized.

Restricted Emails or Domains

Upload a list of restricted attendees to block specific emails from registering, while allowing everyone else.

User's Other Group

Link this form to another user group if needed.

Allowed Email Domains

Restrict registration to specific email domains (e.g. abc.co, xyz.com), separated by commas. Use Import to bring in a saved list.

Custom Code

Add any custom style or script tag code for this form. You can also grab the Embed Code (iframe) to place the form on an external page.

Save Your Changes

Once you're done, click Save to apply the updated settings.

FAQs

Q: Will hiding the registration form cancel existing registrations?
No. Hiding the form only removes it from public view — the event stays active and existing registrations remain unaffected.

Q: What happens if I switch from Unlimited to Fixed Capacity?
Registrations will stop once the seat limit you set is reached. Existing registrations aren't removed, but no new ones are accepted past the cap.

Q: Can I require admin approval for only some attendees?
No. Admin Approval Required applies to all submissions on that form — every registration will need approval before it's finalized.

Q: Does Export Email affect attendee privacy?
It controls whether attendee emails can appear in exportable reports. This is also governed by your Lead Settings, so check those for full control over what's shared.

Q: What's the difference between Restricted Emails/Domains and Allowed Email Domains?
Restricted Emails or Domains blocks specific people while allowing everyone else. Allowed Email Domains does the opposite — only the domains you list can register, and everything else is blocked.

Q: Can I password-protect a form and also restrict it by domain?
Yes, these settings work together. You can combine Password Protect, Allowed Email Domains, and Restricted Emails or Domains on the same form.

It's in the Custom Code section of Form Settings — click Embed Code to copy the iframe snippet for use on an external page.
