Setting a ticket price can be confusing if you do not know the details of the charges and fees. Eventspot offers a transparent price calculator right during the ticket creation process.

When setting up ticket pricing for events, you have the flexibility to choose between "Absorb" or "Pass On" options, which determines who covers the Payment Gateway fee and Eventspot's fee.
This gives event organizers the opportunity to define a pricing structure that generates profit for their events.
For example, A ticket Price is $100 and there are no special taxes added.
When you select:
Ticket price for the buyer = Price + Tax Percentage (as set under Registration >> Registration Settings) = (100 + 10)
Additional Fees = Eventspot Fee + Payment gateway fee = (1.00 + 3.49)
Since you have decided to Absorb the Fee, money to you is (110-3.49-1) = 105.51
Ticket price for the buyer = Price + Tax Percentage (as set under Registration >> Registration Settings) + Eventspot Fee + Payment gateway fee = (100 + 10 + 1.00 + 3.49) = 114.49
Since you have decided to Pass On the Fee, money to you is (114.49-3.49-1) = 110.00
