Modify your registration form to control exactly what information you collect from attendees and how each field behaves.
In the Eventspot Admin Panel, go to Registration > Registration Forms, select the form you want to edit, and click Edit to open the Form Builder.
Drag a field from the left panel (e.g. Bio, Company, Designation, Phone Number) onto a section, or hover over an existing field and click on it to open its Field Settings.
Click Save on the field settings, then click Save again on the form to confirm the final version.
Q: What's the difference between Visibility and Editable By?
Visibility controls who can see the field at all (Public, Private, or Restricted). Editable By controls who can change its value once it's visible (Applicant or Admins).
Q: Can I stop an attendee from editing a field after they've submitted it?
Yes. Set Editable By to Applicant and enable Freeze field after submission — the attendee can fill it in once, but can't change it afterward.
Q: What does "Hide during registration" do if the field is still mandatory?
Hiding a field removes it from the visible registration flow. If it's also marked mandatory, make sure a value is set another way (e.g. a default or admin entry), since the attendee won't see it to fill it in.
Q: Should I use a Single Picker or Range Picker for a date field?
Use Single Picker when you need one specific date (like a date of birth). Use Range Picker when attendees need to select a start and end date, such as for availability.
Q: Can I limit attendees to selecting only future dates?
Yes. Set Date Restriction Settings to Allow dates only after and specify the cutoff date.
Q: Does "Exportable in scanned lead data" affect the field's visibility on the form?
No. It only controls whether the field's value is included when leads are scanned and exported — it doesn't change who can see or edit the field on the form itself.
