The splash screen is the first thing attendees see when they open your event app. You can upload branded static images for iOS and Android, or use a short video instead. Here is how to set it up.
Where to find it: Admin Panel → Setup → Branding → Splash Screen
The Branding section contains six areas: App Branding, App Menu, App Home Screen, Splash Screen, Frames, and Live Display. Click Splash Screen to open it. You will see three tabs across the top: iOS Splash Screen, Android Splash Screen, and Splash Screen Video.
iOS requires two images to cover all iPhone screen sizes. Upload one image per slot at the exact dimensions shown. Drag and drop your file into the slot or click to browse. The built-in cropper opens after each upload so you can confirm positioning before saving. Maximum file size is 50 MB per image.
Once both slots are filled, click Save.
Android requires four images to cover the full range of screen densities across different devices. Upload one image per slot at the exact dimensions shown. Drag and drop or click to browse. The built-in cropper opens after each upload. Maximum file size is 50 MB per image.
All four slots must be filled. If any slot is left empty or has the wrong dimensions, the app will stretch or distort the image on that device type. Click Save after uploading all four.
If you prefer motion over static images, switch to the Splash Screen Video tab and upload a video file. The video applies to both iOS and Android and overrides the static images — only one option can be active at a time. Use the Remove button to revert to static images at any time.
Avoid 4K resolution. Many Android devices do not support it and it can cause playback issues on launch. Long intros also frustrate attendees expecting a fast app open.
Click Save once your video is uploaded.
