Adding social links to your registration form lets attendees share their profiles and helps you stay connected with them even after the event ends. Here's how to add them:
In the Eventspot Admin Panel, go to Registration > Registration Forms, select the form you want to edit and click Edit.
In the left panel under Contact Fields, you'll find social options including Website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Drag the social field you want (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram) from the left panel and drop it into any section of your form, such as a dedicated "Social Details" section.
To modify a social field already on the form, hover over it and click on it to adjust its settings.
Click Save on the field settings, then click Save & Next to apply the changes to your registration form.
Q: Can I add multiple social links to the same form?
Yes. You can drag in as many social fields (Website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp) as you need, in any section.
Q: Can I make a social link field mandatory?
Yes. Open the field's settings and enable Mark it mandatory, the same way you would for any other field.
Q: Can I organize social fields into their own section?
Yes. Create a new section (e.g. "Social Details") using the Section/Page Breaker option, then drag your social fields into it.
Q: Will social links be visible to other attendees, or just to admins?
That depends on the field's Visibility setting (Public, Private or Restricted), which you can configure the same way as any other field.
Q: Can attendees update their social links after registering?
Yes, as long as the field's Editable By setting is set to Applicant and Freeze field after submission isn't enabled.
